Boy, two girls allegedly raped in separate incidents in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: A teenage boy and two teenage girls were allegedly sexually assaulted in three separate incidents reported in different parts of Rawalpindi, according to police cases and an official statement.

In the first case, a resident of Choor approached Westridge police and lodged a first information report, stating that his 13-year-old son returned home on Sunday night crying and in severe pain. According to the complaint, the boy told his father that he had been in Allahabad when a man on a motorcycle stopped near him and asked him to come along, saying his uncle was calling him.

The complainant said his son accompanied the rider, who then took him to an under-construction house on a service road. There, the boy was allegedly sexually assaulted before the suspect fled.

The father further stated in the FIR that after hearing his son’s account, he went to the location and questioned the watchman about the incident. He alleged that the watchman abused him and behaved improperly. He said the watchman later connected him by phone to the engineer, who, according to the complainant, also became angry, abused him and threatened him with dire consequences after hearing about the matter.

The complainant accused the watchman and the engineer of facilitating the unidentified suspect in the assault on his son. Police registered a case against three people and began an investigation.

Girl allegedly blackmailed and assaulted in Dhamial

In another case, a man identified as B.A., a resident of Chakri Road, filed an FIR with Dhamial police, saying that his 15-year-old daughter told him on Saturday that a security guard had been blackmailing her for the past eight months after developing relations with her.

According to the FIR, the accused allegedly threatened the girl by saying he had her naked pictures and would send them to her father if she did not remain in contact with him. The complainant also stated that his daughter had been sexually assaulted four times before January this year. He further alleged that the accused physically tortured her and inflicted blade cuts on her body.

Suspect arrested in Waris Khan case

In a third incident, police said they had arrested a man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl within the limits of Waris Khan police station on Monday.

A police spokesman said the suspect used to visit the girl’s house and would rape her. Police said the girl’s mother took her to hospital after her condition worsened, where it was discovered that she was pregnant.

According to the police, Waris Khan police immediately registered a case on the complaint of the victim’s mother and arrested the suspect.

The three incidents were reported from Westridge, Dhamial and Waris Khan areas of Rawalpindi.
