Bushra Ansari reveals why she deleted Mahira Khan, Fahad Mustafa from her contacts

Veteran actress Bushra Ansari has revealed that she once deleted the phone numbers of fellow stars Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa after they failed to respond to her messages.

Speaking during a recent interview, Bushra explained that she had reached out to both actors on separate occasions but never received a reply. Rather than taking offence, she assumed they were busy and decided to stop contacting them altogether.

Her solution was simple: delete their numbers.

According to Bushra, she has a personal rule of not repeatedly messaging people she believes are occupied. If someone does not respond, she assumes they have other priorities and quietly removes their contact information from her phone.

The decision eventually led to an awkward yet amusing encounter with Mahira Khan.

Bushra recalled receiving a text message that read, "Apa, I love you, I miss you." However, because the number was no longer saved in her phone, only the initials "MK" appeared on the screen.

Unsure who had sent the message, Bushra replied asking whether it was actress Mishi Khan.

Only later did she realise the message had actually come from Mahira Khan.

When Mahira found out her number had been deleted, she was reportedly shocked and asked whether Bushra was upset with her.

Bushra explained that she had not removed Mahira from her life — only from her contact list.

A similar situation later unfolded with Fahad Mustafa.

When the actor discovered that his number had also been deleted, he reportedly questioned Bushra's reasoning. She told him that after hearing he was busy, she decided there was no need to continue messaging him and simply removed his contact information.

Despite the misunderstanding, Bushra stressed that she holds Mahira in high regard and has never had any issues with her.

She described Mahira as respectful, polite and well-mannered, adding that while some people perceive the superstar as moody, she has never experienced anything negative herself. According to Bushra, Mahira can occasionally be indecisive, but that is simply part of her personality.

Fortunately, the story has a happy ending.

Bushra revealed that both Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa's numbers have since been restored to her phone, putting an end to the accidental contact-list drama.
