Hasan Ali shatters world record with fastest 350 T20 wickets

Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali has set a new world record in T20 cricket after becoming the fastest player to reach 350 wickets in the format.

The milestone came during a Vitality Blast match against Leicestershire, where Hasan Ali picked up four wickets, taking his career tally past 350 T20 wickets.

He achieved the landmark in just 243 matches, breaking the previous record held by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who reached the same milestone in 251 matches.

The feat further strengthens Hasan Ali’s standing in franchise cricket, where he has featured across multiple leagues around the world as a consistent wicket-taker.

In international T20 cricket, Hasan has represented Pakistan in 57 matches, taking 72 wickets at an average of 23.31, with his best bowling figures of 5/30.

His last appearance for Pakistan in the format came against the UAE in Sharjah on August 30, 2025.

Hasan Ali, who rose to prominence after being named Player of the Tournament in the 2017 Champions Trophy, continues to remain one of Pakistan’s most impactful fast bowlers in white-ball cricket.
