A clip from a Ramzan television show is making the rounds online after a cleric offered some unusual advice to people observing the fast. In the video, the speaker can be heard suggesting that those fasting should be careful about how much they breathe and how they sit.
“Baat ye hai k rozay k halaat main saans ziyada na lain. Aur thora simat k bethain, ziyada phel k na bethain, k baaz aukat pani iss k maiday tak pohonch sakta hai, jis se roza toot jayega,” he says during the segment.
The statement quickly caught attention on social media, where users found the explanation puzzling and, in many cases, unintentionally hilarious. The clip gained even more traction after another man posted a reaction video. In it, he jokingly holds his nose as if trying not to breathe, before dramatically acting as though he might collapse from the effort, poking fun at the advice.
The internet, as expected, had plenty to say. One user joked, “Sehri ghar pe... iftaar jannat mey,” implying that following such advice might leave someone struggling to survive the fast. Another commenter quipped, “Ye toh Jaanlewa maulana hai bhai,” humorously suggesting the instructions sounded dangerously extreme.
Others took a more critical tone, questioning how such statements end up on television. One comment read, “In jahilon ko esi bakwaas karne k liye tayar kon karta hai,” reflecting frustration from viewers who felt the advice lacked credibility.
While Ramzan transmissions often include religious discussions and guidance about fasting, the viral clip has become a reminder of how quickly unusual moments from live shows can take on a life of their own online — especially when the internet decides the best response is laughter.
