Traffic plan issued for Youm-e-Ali procession in Karachi

KARACHI: Authorities have announced a comprehensive traffic management plan for the Youm-e-Ali procession scheduled to take place in Karachi. The procession is set to commence from Nishtar Park at 1pm, with several key roads in the city to be closed for security purposes.

According to officials, MA Jinnah Road and certain areas within Saddar will remain closed to vehicular traffic during the procession. The measures are being implemented to ensure the safety of participants and to facilitate the smooth passage of the procession through the city.

The traffic police have advised commuters to plan their routes accordingly and to avoid the affected areas during the event. Alternative routes have been designated to help ease congestion and maintain the flow of traffic in other parts of Karachi.

Authorities have also requested the public to cooperate with law enforcement personnel and to follow the instructions provided by traffic officials on the day of the procession.
