Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes React in Shock as Patrick Mahomes Suffers Injury During Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes shared a tense moment during Monday night’s Kansas City Chiefs game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes appeared to suffer an injury. Initially, the two were seen celebrating Mahomes’ touchdown pass to Samaje Perine in a TikTok clip, with Swift even giving her mom, Andrea Swift, a joyful hug in their private suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

However, the mood shifted when Brittany tapped Taylor, alerting her that “Patrick’s hurt.” Swift’s shock was apparent as both friends watched closely to see the extent of Mahomes’ injury. ESPN cameras captured the quarterback, 29, on the ground holding his ankle before teammates, including Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, helped him off the field.

Mahomes later returned to play, aiding the Chiefs in securing a 30-24 win. Swift’s presence at Arrowhead followed Kelce’s surprise appearance at her Eras Tour concert in Indianapolis over the weekend.

Despite a busy schedule, Swift has become a regular at Chiefs home games, with Arrowhead Stadium providing the preferred venue for her visits due to its familiarity and enhanced security arrangements.
