However, the mood shifted when Brittany tapped Taylor, alerting her that “Patrick’s hurt.” Swift’s shock was apparent as both friends watched closely to see the extent of Mahomes’ injury. ESPN cameras captured the quarterback, 29, on the ground holding his ankle before teammates, including Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, helped him off the field.
Mahomes later returned to play, aiding the Chiefs in securing a 30-24 win. Swift’s presence at Arrowhead followed Kelce’s surprise appearance at her Eras Tour concert in Indianapolis over the weekend.
