Saudi govt launches campaign to provide aid to Palestinians in Gaza

ISLAMABAD: As per the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) launched a public donation campaign through the “Sahem” platform to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Advisor to the Royal Court and Director General of the King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, announced the launch of a popular fundraising campaign to help the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, following directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.

He stated that this magnanimous instruction reflects the noble values of this generous nation’s leadership and its honorable people who have responded to their leaders’ call.

During the launch event, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabiah announced that King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has donated SAR 30 million to the campaign, while Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has contributed SAR 20 million.

His Excellency Dr. Al-Rabiah explained that donations can be made through several methods, including KSrelief’s “Sahem” platform, the “Sahem” mobile application, the dedicated bank account for the campaign, or other donation channels available on KSrelief’s website.

He emphasized that KSrelief will not deduct any administrative fees from these donations, so the full amounts will reach the intended beneficiaries.

Dr. Al-Rabiah expressed profound gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for their humanitarian initiative. He prayed that the generous contributions would effectively alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
