KP govt releases over Rs200mn grant to 106 TMAs

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has issued a grant of over Rs 200mn to Tehsil Municipal Administrations (TMAs) of all administrative districts of the province.

According to the notification issued by provincial 

Finance Department, a grant of over Rs200mn has been released to 106 TMAs for expenditure incurred in of march. The grant has been released to the Personal Accounts of TMAs to meet their ongoing expenditure, including salaries and pensions of employees, while also meeting office expenses and fuel for vehicles.

The provincial government has released highest amount of grant, Rs20.6 million, to the Peshawar City Tehsil. According to the sources of the Local Government Department, the provincial government has not yet released grants for expenditure incurred in January and February.
