Arrival of fast bowling coach Shaun Tait in Pakistan delayed

Shaun Tait, the newly-appointed fast bowling coach of the Pakistan men’s team, will join the Test squad late.

According to sources, Tait’s arrival in Pakistan has been delayed as efforts are being made to complete the travel documents, including the former Australian pacer’s visa.

He won’t be part of the training camp, starting from February 16 in Karachi. The 38-year-old will join the side directly in Islamabad ahead of the first Test in Rawalpindi, starting from March 4.

It must be noted that Tait will be associated with the Men in Green for the upcoming 12 months. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the appointments of coaches while naming squad for the Test series against Australia.

Mohammad Yousuf will serve as batting coach for the Australia series while Saqlain Mushtaq has been named as head coach for one year.
