Favouritism

To begin with, when I think about discrimination the one issue that sticks out in my mind is Favouritism. Favouritism is like action as if you only have one student and others does not exist. Playing favourites is a bad habit; you can harm apparently in harmless ways. In a Class there is always someone that will stand out and someone that will not but despite of that they all are equal. Moreover, one may be smarter than the other but at the end of the class they all are students. All should be treated fairly. Nevertheless, they may not be the smartest but each student has a talent inside them. After all everyone is created uniquely. Showing Favouritism on one student may have a bad effect to another student because they may lose their respect and starting doubting about the teacher’s capability. Always choosing the smart ones is never a good deed because how can a Teacher bring out the best on those average students if they only set their eyes on the favourites. A Teacher is always labelled as the second parent and a parent’s love and attention must be equally divided among it’s children. Whether it’s pretty or ugly, smart or dumb, rich or poor they all deserve the best.
