Sindh adjusts school timings due to cold weather

KARACHI: The Sindh government has revised school timings across the province in response to the ongoing cold spell. As per a notification from the Sindh Education Department, all public and private schools will now open at 9:00 am, while the closing time will remain unchanged. This new schedule will take effect starting Monday and will continue until January 26.

The decision aims to shield students from the extreme morning temperatures that have been affecting various parts of the province.

In contrast, the Punjab government has opted for a more extended measure, announcing an extension of winter vacations for schools due to the severe cold. The extended break in Punjab is aimed at ensuring the health and safety of students during these harsh weather conditions.
