FPSC announces dates for CSS 2026 written exams

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has released the official schedule for the CSS Competitive Examination 2026. According to the announcement, the written exams will commence on February 4, 2026.

On the first day, candidates will sit for the English Essay paper, followed by the Precis & Composition exam on February 5. The General Knowledge papers are scheduled for February 6, 7, and 8.

The Islamic Studies paper, or the Comparative Study of Religions for non-Muslim candidates, will be held on February 9, 2026. Examinations for optional subjects will take place from February 10 to February 15, 2026, in both morning and evening sessions across various subject groups.

FPSC has urged all candidates to prepare according to the provided schedule and to adhere to guidelines regarding roll number slips, examination centers, and other official instructions to avoid any issues during the exam period.
