Dar reaffirms Pakistan’s principled position on Palestine

JEDDAH: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met the Secretary General of OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, on the sidelines of Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah.

He highlighted Pakistan’s strong condemnation of Israel’s recognition of Somaliland and its unwavering support for the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Somalia.

Categorically rejecting any proposal for dislocation of Palestinians, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled position on Palestine.He urged the OIC Secretary General to step up his efforts for realization of the right to self-determination of Kashmiri people.

The OIC Secretary General commended Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role at OIC in advocating for the causes central to the Muslim Ummah.
