Federal Board announces date for Intermediate Annual Exams 2026

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board has officially announced the timetable and admissions schedule for the 2026 Intermediate (HSSC) First Year Annual Examinations, confirming that the exams will begin on April 28.

Along with the exam date, the board has opened online submission for examination admission forms and provided a detailed fee structure with deadlines for regular, private, and improvement candidates.

Students can submit their forms with the normal fee until February 3. After this date, late fees will apply: forms will be accepted with a double fee from February 4 to February 12, and with a triple fee from February 13 to February 24.

The examination fee for First Year candidates is set at Rs. 2,700, while unregistered candidates will need to pay Rs. 4,200. For candidates appearing for both First Year and Second Year exams together, the combined fee will be Rs. 5,400.

Additionally, the board has set a fee of Rs. 2,000 for corrections in admission forms or roll number slips. However, orphans, persons with disabilities, and prisoner candidates will be exempt from paying examination fees.
