Shehbaz Sharif hails PML-N by-election victories

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday congratulated PML-N candidates on their convincing by-election victories, describing the results as a clear endorsement of the party’s governance and development agenda.

Shehbaz Sharif commended Muhammad Tufail Jutt and Hafiz Muhammad Nauman for their wins in NA-143 Chichawatni and NA-129 Lahore, respectively, noting that the outcomes reflect public confidence in Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s development initiatives and the party’s broader vision.

“The victories are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our party workers and leadership, guided by the principles set forth by Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif,” the prime minister said.

He added that the successful candidates would dedicate themselves to serving their constituencies and advancing public welfare. In a post on X, Shehbaz Sharif highlighted additional wins by PML-N candidates, including Sardar Mahmood Qadir Khan Leghari in NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan and others across provincial assemblies, framing the results as a rejection of political instability and a vote for development and peace.

“The people have chosen progress over chaos, stability over disruption, and we remain committed to fulfilling their aspirations through continuous service and governance,” he remarked.
