Serene Air employees protest unpaid salaries

Dozens of Serene Air employees staged a protest after going without pay for three consecutive months. The workers, who include pilots, air hostesses, and ground staff, expressed their distress over the airline’s failure to disburse salaries since September when operations were suspended.

The staff confirmed that the non-payment has left them struggling to meet daily expenses and household needs. They said repeated assurances from management to clear dues have not materialized, further deepening their frustration.

Employees have warned they will not return to work until all pending salaries are paid. They have also threatened to escalate the protest to a full-scale demonstration if their demands are not met promptly, urging management to fulfill its commitments without delay.
