Fazlur Rehman departs for Bangladesh religious tour

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman departed on Monday for a visit to Bangladesh, the party’s spokesperson confirmed.

According to JUI-F spokesperson Aslam Ghauri, Fazlur Rehman will address a series of religious, reformist, and spiritual gatherings during his stay. He is also scheduled to serve as the chief guest at the International Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Conference.

During the visit, the JUI-F chief will attend annual gatherings at various religious seminaries across Bangladesh. Special receptions are planned in Dhaka, Sylhet, and other cities in his honour.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman is accompanied by senior party leaders including Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Maulana Asad Mahmood, Maulana Saeed Yousaf, and Mufti Ibrar Ahmed.
