Iranian ambassador pays tribute to Allama Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: On the occasion of Allama Iqbal Day, Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam paid tribute to the revered poet-philosopher, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

In a message shared on X (social media), the Ambassador emphasized Iqbal’s deep connection with Persian literature and his significant role in strengthening intellectual ties between Iran and Pakistan.

The Ambassador remarked that Iqbal’s message of unity and faith continues to inspire nations, guiding humanity toward dignity, justice, and spiritual awakening. He also noted that Iran honors Iqbal as a shared cultural and spiritual figure, symbolizing wisdom, brotherhood, and the enduring bond between Iran and Pakistan.

Moghadam further announced that November 9 is celebrated as “Allama Iqbal Day” in Iran, recognizing Iqbal’s lasting legacy.
