ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Monday coordinated the departure of Alkhidmat Foundation’s 100-ton relief consignment from Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, to Gaza via Egypt.
The aid shipment comprises essential food supplies, including flour, rice, sweet corn, chickpeas, ready-to-eat meals, cooking oil, and fruit cocktails.
This consignment marks Pakistan’s 24th humanitarian dispatch to Gaza, raising the total relief assistance sent to 2,327 tons, in line with the directive of the Prime Minister.
A send-off ceremony was held at the airport, attended by officials from NDMA, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and representatives of the Alkhidmat Foundation.
