Pakistan continues cross-border strikes after rejecting Afghan ceasefire appeal

Pakistan has turned down Afghanistan’s request for a ceasefire following unprovoked firing from Afghan border posts on Saturday night, according to security sources.

The Pakistan Army has maintained its retaliatory operations with full force, targeting Afghan border positions allegedly supporting militant activities along the frontier. Officials confirmed that these strikes are being conducted with precision and restraint, focusing solely on posts aiding terrorist elements.

Security sources stated that Pakistan’s stance remains firm — military action will persist until all threats from terrorist networks are fully neutralized. In the latest wave of strikes, an Afghan post near the Kurram border was destroyed, while multiple positions in the Kharlachi Sector were effectively hit.

Reports further revealed that Afghan military camps in Doran Mela and Turkmanzai were decimated, and the Shaheedan post in Balochistan’s Bramcha sector was completely taken out. Heavy casualties have reportedly forced several Afghan soldiers to abandon their posts, leaving behind fallen comrades.

Following these losses, Afghan forces requested de-escalation, but the proposal was firmly rejected by Pakistan. Meanwhile, the Kharchar Fort — identified as a major hub for the Khawarij terrorist network — was also destroyed, along with the Jandosar post, whose complete destruction was captured in video footage.

Officials reiterated that Pakistan’s operations remain focused, calculated, and aimed solely at neutralizing cross-border militant threats without broad escalation.

  1. 4 years Pakistan has providing intelligence and made requests to the Islamic Emirate that they take action against Indian Sponsored terrorists.

The Emirate did not take heed and the deathsbof Pakistanis kept piling. In 2025 alone over 550 + attacks were registered in Pakistan emansting and co-ordinated on Afghan soil financed by India. Often intercepts showed Indian serving officers in the military and intelligence speaking directly to the perpetrators and handlers in Afghanistan.

Pakistan has been patient and no nation will stand for the terror Pakistan has been subjected to by Indian Afghan proxies under the visible eyes of the Emirate.

Pakistan must destroy TTP and its many other faces namely BLA ISIS-K and its affiliates.

Afghanistan has played a horrible miscalculated double game and now will reap what it sowed.
