Is Pakistan Navy conducting a secret missile test in the Arabian Sea? Find out

Reports circulating on social media about Pakistan preparing to test an “unknown missile” in the Arabian Sea are false, according to official clarification from the Pakistan Navy. Officials confirmed that the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) issued earlier pertains to routine naval exercises.

The speculation began when several social media accounts, including a verified defence news handle, claimed that Pakistan had scheduled a secret missile test. The posts cited a NOTAM allegedly issued for the operation, leading to widespread speculation online.

Officials from the Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR) Navy told ProPakistani that no missile test is being conducted. They confirmed that the NOTAM was issued for standard naval drills involving live missile and gunnery firing practice.

The exercises are scheduled to take place between 0300 and 1300 UTC on October 9 and 10, 2025. Officials urged the public and media outlets to verify such reports from credible sources before circulating unverified information.
