PTI hails Saudi-Pakistan ties on kingdom’s 95th independence day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has extended warm congratulations to Saudi Arabia on the occasion of its 95th national day, on behalf of party chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan and the people of Pakistan.

In a statement issued by the PTI Central Media Department, the party conveyed its felicitations to King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the people of the Kingdom.

PTI said Saudi Arabia stands as a “beacon of unity for the Muslim Ummah” and enjoys deep-rooted ties with Pakistan based on fraternal solidarity, shared values, and mutual trust.

The statement highlighted the recently concluded Strategic Defence Mutual Agreement (SDMA), describing it as a reflection of the “strategic convergence” of the two nations and their shared commitment to regional stability, prosperity, and the collective strength of the Islamic world.

PTI added that the people of Pakistan remain steadfast in their prayers for the kingdom’s progress, peace, and prosperity under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and for the strengthening of bonds between the two countries in service of the Ummah.
