ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on the international community to immediately stop the aggression and atrocities of Israel and India.
In his message in connection with International Day of Peace, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said the unrestrained aggression of India and Israel continued to be a constant threat to regional and world peace.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said peace is not just the absence of conflicts but the presence of justice, equality and mutual respect between nations.
Peace is the foundation of prosperity, without which democracy weakens, justice diminishes and the human spirit is wounded, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said.
Today, we also pay tribute to the founding fathers of our country and the martyred leadership of the party, Bilawal Bhutto added.
He said our elders dreamed of a homeland based on dignity, justice and peace and made sacrifices for it.
The Peoples Party has always respected the people’s leader Shaheed Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision has advocated for peace at the national and global levels, Bilawal Bhutto said.
He said extremism, poverty and inequality are serious threats to peace and stability.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said real peace cannot be established through silence or coercion.
Social justice, empowerment of the marginalized and protection of basic human rights are essential for peace, Bilawal Bhutto said.
He said a peaceful Pakistan is not only the desire of our people but also a sacred trust for future generations.
Chairman PPP said the burden of shame of the atrocities of the occupying forces of Israel and India will always be borne by the conscience of humanity.
Humanity will always be ashamed of the atrocities of the Israeli forces in Gaza and the brutality of the Indian army in occupied Kashmir, said Bilawal Bhutto.
These tragedies are not just regional issues but wounds on the conscience of humanity, which demand immediate action and firm determination from the world, Bilawal Bhutto said.
The PPP will continue its struggle for a peaceful, democratic and progressive Pakistan, he added.
The PPP is actively working to create a Pakistan that is fully based on the vision of Quaid-e-Azam, Bilawal Bhutto said.
