KARACHI: A private airline flight traveling from Jeddah to Islamabad was diverted to Karachi Airport on Sunday due to poor visibility and heavy fog at Islamabad International Airport.
Sources confirmed that the plane was unable to land at its scheduled destination because of the adverse weather conditions.
The pilot, following instructions from air traffic control, rerouted the flight to Karachi, where it landed safely without incident.
