Bad weather forces emergency landing of Isb-Jeddah flight in Karachi

KARACHI: A private airline flight traveling from Jeddah to Islamabad was diverted to Karachi Airport on Sunday due to poor visibility and heavy fog at Islamabad International Airport.

Sources confirmed that the plane was unable to land at its scheduled destination because of the adverse weather conditions.

The pilot, following instructions from air traffic control, rerouted the flight to Karachi, where it landed safely without incident. Passengers were informed about the situation and were reassured that the flight would continue its journey to Islamabad once the weather conditions in the capital improved.

The airline advised passengers to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest updates on departure schedules. The incident highlights the impact of weather-related disruptions on air travel, particularly during foggy conditions.
