PIA resumes Paris flights from Lahore after five years

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resumed its direct flight service from Lahore to Paris after a five-year hiatus, marking a significant step in the national carrier’s efforts to revive its European network. The first weekly flight, PK-733, carrying 276 passengers, landed at Charles de Gaulle Airport on Wednesday.

This resumption follows several years of limited European connectivity due to operational and regulatory challenges. A grand ceremony was held at the airport to celebrate the relaunch of the route, with airline officials and passengers participating in the event.
