268 Pakistani pilgrims return safely from Iraq

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, 268 Pakistani nationals were repatriated from Iraq on two special flights organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in coordination with Iraqi Airways. The flights arrived safely in Karachi and Islamabad.

The Ministry is working closely with Iraqi Airways and relevant Iraqi authorities to ensure the safe and timely return of the remaining Pakistani pilgrims. MoFA has urged all Pakistani pilgrims in Iraq to stay in contact with the Pakistan Embassy in Baghdad, designated representatives, and their respective airlines for updates on their travel arrangements.

Iraqi Airways is operating daily flights on the Basra-Dubai route, and MoFA advised those interested in traveling via this route to contact the nearest Iraqi Airways office for booking assistance. The Ministry remains committed to facilitating the safe and orderly return of all Pakistani pilgrims.
