Seven flights canceled, multiple delays after Israel-Iran conflict escalates

LAHORE: Following Israel’s strikes on Iran and Iran’s retaliatory actions, several flights to and from Pakistan were canceled, while others faced significant delays due to the heightened tensions in the region.

According to airport sources, seven flights were canceled on Saturday, including routes from Najaf to Karachi, Baku to Lahore, and Karachi to Jeddah. Additionally, two foreign airline flights from Kuwait to Karachi were delayed by over six hours, and two flights from Dubai to Karachi experienced delays of two hours.

These disruptions affected flights not only to Pakistan but also to and from Qatar, Turkey, Dubai, and Jeddah, as the conflict impacted air travel schedules.
