KARACHI: Armed robbers shot and killed a motorcycle mechanic on Tuesday in New Karachi after he resisted their attempted robbery. The victim, Muhammad Nasir, had just finished his work and was returning home when he was intercepted by two armed men riding a motorcycle.
The robbers snatched his mobile phone at gunpoint, and as they tried to flee, Nasir gave chase. In retaliation, the robbers opened fire, hitting Nasir with four bullets. He was rushed to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Nasir was the father of three children.
