CJP, MWL chief discuss Islamic justice principles

MAKKAH: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, recently met with Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Alissa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, in Makkah. The two leaders engaged in detailed discussions on the foundational principles of Islamic justice, emphasizing their enduring relevance in promoting fairness, integrity, and the rule of law.

The conversation also addressed concerns over the erosion of core justice values and underscored the need for a renewed commitment to equitable judicial practices in contemporary times.
