Ayaz Sadiq thanks Saudi crown prince for continued support to Pakistan

MAKKAH: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday and expressed gratitude for the kingdom’s consistent support to Pakistan during times of difficulty.

The meeting took place during a royal luncheon hosted by the crown prince in honour of Muslim leaders visiting Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori was also present at the gathering.

According to a statement from the National Assembly Secretariat, Sadiq acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s longstanding diplomatic and economic assistance to Pakistan. He praised the Saudi leadership’s firm stance on issues of importance to Pakistan.

The crown prince reaffirmed his commitment to enhanced cooperation among Muslim countries to address common challenges. The engagement reflected continued efforts to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
