Punjab CM announces Faisalabad metro bus and electric bus service

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has declared plans to launch a metro bus service in Faisalabad next year, along with the introduction of green electric buses.

Speaking at a Laptop and Honhaar Scholarship Phase-II ceremony at GC University Faisalabad, she revealed the initiation of a Faisalabad Development Plan modeled after Lahore’s urban development. The plan includes transforming rural settlements in Faisalabad division into model villages with uniform growth alongside cities.

Maryam Nawaz also praised the nation’s armed forces for their historic victory, highlighting the unity between the people and leadership during the conflict. She emphasized the bravery of security forces and the bright future secured for Pakistan through their efforts.
