Pakistan Army, Rangers & Coast Guards offer Salatus Shukr over success of Banyanum Marsoos

  • Corps Commander Karachi offers prayers with officers and troops, DG Rangers Sindh, Divisional Headquarters Malir, Hyderabad, Pano Aqil and Pakistan Coast Guards also offer Salatus Shukr

KARACHI: Salatus Shukr (prayers of gratitude) was offered by the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Rangers Sindh and Pakistan Coast Guard in Karachi to celebrate the success of Operation Banyanum Marsoos.

Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Owais Dastgir offered Salatus Shukr alongwith the officers and troops of the Pakistan Army. DG Rangers Sindh, Divisional Headquarters Malir, Hyderabad, Pano Aqil and Pakistan Coast Guards also offered Salatus Shukr on the occasion of the victory of the Pakistan Army.

On the occasion of thanksgiving prayers, they prostrated and bowed down to Allah Almighty, the Almighty, who proved the Pakistani Army to be a leaden wall in front of the cunning enemy India and granted victory.

After offering thanksgiving prayers, Corps Commander Karachi went to the soldiers who were always ready on the occasion of war and paid tribute to them. The Corps Commander said that the Pakistan Army is proud of its brave soldiers and they are the crown of the nation. On this occasion, the combat-ready troops raised slogans for Pakistan on the arrival of the Corps Commander.

The Corps Commander congratulated all the officers and soldiers on the victory of Operation Banyanum Marsoos and appreciated the preparations and their enthusiasm during the war and said that we must be ready at all times. The Corps Commander also visited the soldier who got injured during Operation Banyanum Marsoos. The Corps Commander paid tribute to the martyrs and ghaziyan of the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force for standing with high morale and bravery against the enemy. He further said that the Pakistan Army is keeping an eye on the enemy at all times and in case of any misadventure, an immediate befitting response shall be given.

Desire to become Army officer for one day fulfilled

Later, the Corps Commander met little Usman Aqeel, who wanted to join the Pakistan Army, and congratulated him on fulfillment of his desire to become an officer in the Pakistan Army for a day and presented him with gifts. Usman Aqeel is suffering from the deadly disease of Calciphylaxis.

The little innocent had requested to spend a day as an officer in the Pakistan Army. Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Awais Dastgir fulfilled the wish of little Usman Aqeel and invited him to the Corps Headquarters Karachi. He appreciated the child’s courage and paid tribute to him. The child was given the rank of Captain by his mother and spent the whole day with the Pakistan Army. Little Usman Aqeel was made to fire various weapons used by the Pakistan Army. Usman Aqeel was also informed about the training and operational methods of the Pakistan Army.

On this occasion, little Usman Aqeel said that today my wish to join the Pakistan Army has been fulfilled. He further said that I am grateful to Corps Commander Karachi for providing me this opportunity. He further said that the way the Pakistan Army defeated India in Operation Banyanum Marsoos is exemplary and every child of Pakistan stands by its Pakistani forces and is ready to confront the enemy at any moment.
