Lawyers, traders rally in Karachi against India’s actions

KARACHI: Lawyers and traders in Karachi held separate rallies on Saturday to express solidarity with Pakistan’s armed forces and condemn India’s aggressive posturing.

At the City Courts, a large number of lawyers, including women, gathered for a ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ rally where speakers pledged unwavering support for the armed forces and emphasized national unity. Meanwhile, the All Karachi City Traders Alliance led a march from Chappal Market on MA Jinnah Road to Saddar Mobile Market, chanting slogans in support of Pakistan’s military and burning an effigy of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
