Swabi rally proves public rejection of ‘illegitimate’ govt: Barrister Saif

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Adviser on Information, Barrister Dr. Saif, described the recent Swabi rally as a public referendum against what he called the “so-called elected government.”

In a strongly worded statement, Dr. Saif claimed the massive public turnout proved the theft of the people’s mandate, reinforcing that the entire nation stood firmly behind Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.

“The people are standing shoulder to shoulder with Imran Khan in the struggle for real freedom. With public support, this illegitimate government will be removed,” he asserted.

He further alleged that despite a week-long crackdown on PTI workers in Punjab, the authorities had failed to suppress the movement. He insisted that the government’s repressive tactics had only fueled the people’s resolve to demand justice and real freedom.

Barrister Saif described the rally as a turning point, emphasizing that it demonstrated the public’s defiance against political coercion and their determination to bring about democratic change.
