Federal govt dividing people instead of uniting them: Saif

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Advisor Barrister Saif accused the federal government of fostering division among the people rather than promoting unity.

He highlighted that KP produces the cheapest electricity in Pakistan, yet it is sold at high prices by the federal government. Despite generating significant electricity, KP residents have seen no relief in their power bills.

Barrister Saif criticized Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif for his claim of reducing power bills, stating that an MNA elected on Form-47 does not have the authority to announce such reductions.

He also condemned the federal government’s focus on selective development in Punjab, arguing that small provinces, like KP, should receive a fair share of development funding as they have been neglected in favor of larger projects in Punjab.
