India-made anti-tank mine found and diffused in Narowal

NAROWAL: An anti-tank mine was discovered in Nullah Dek, located in the Zafarwal tehsil of Narowal, on Sunday. The bomb disposal squad (BDS) successfully defused the device.

According to reports, the mine, weighing 18 pounds and of Indian origin, was likely carried by the waters of Nullah Dek and was found in the Jandiala area.

The Civil Defence’s BDS team promptly took custody of the mine and rendered it safe.

This incident marks the second time in two days that an anti-tank mine has been recovered from Nullah Dek.
