Two children drown, three rescued in Sahiwal Canal Incident

SAHIWAL: In Sahilwal, two children drowned and three others were rescued while bathing in the 9-L Link Goga Canal on Sunday.

According to reports, a group of children was bathing in the canal to escape the scorching heat. Five children ventured into the deeper parts of the canal and subsequently drowned.

Upon receiving the distress call, rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene. They successfully rescued three children, while the bodies of the two drowned children were recovered.

The deceased children were from Chak No 120/9-L Kamir.
