Lahore police caught stealing electricity after disconnection

LAHORE: The policemen started stealing electricity as the electricity connection at Shad Bagh police station in Lahore was disconnected due to non-payment of the bill.

According to the report, the electricity at Shad Bagh police station was disconnected at 6 pm and the police officials restored the electricity in the darkness of the night by hooking a wire with the main supply line of LESCO passing through the police station.

In this regard, LESCO officials said that if those who file a case against electricity theft turn out to be thieves, where should they file a complaint.
