WAZIRISTAN: Security Forces on Friday conducted an intelligence based operation in North Waziristan District on reported presence of terrorists, during which one terrorist, Khawarji Razzaq, as killed after an intense round of firing.
He was a close associate of Khawarji Gul Bahadur and was actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area including target killing of Malik Sher Muhammad, grandson of Faqir of Ippi on January 6, 2023.
He also facilitated a suicide bombing attack in North Waziristan on March 16, 2024, which resulted in the shahadat of seven brave soldiers.
It is perinent to mention here that a continued sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area as Security Forces of Pakistan remain determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.
