Motorway Police recover and return passenger’s bag with Rs0.2m cash

PESHAWAR: Motorway Police (MP) personnel once again set an example of honesty by returning a bag containing Rs200,000 and some clothes to its owner on Sunday.

Reports indicate that a car, heading from Peshawar to Swat, encountered a mechanical issue on the Swat Expressway. The problem was quickly resolved, and the journey resumed.

However, one of the passengers forgot his bag on the road. Realizing the omission, he sought help from the MP’s patrolling team. The team members initiated a search and successfully located the bag on the road, returning it to its grateful owner.

The passenger expressed his gratitude to the MP personnel for their integrity.
