RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has transferred Superintendent Adiala Jail Asad Javed Warraich to Sahiwal prison on Saturday.
Abdul Ghafoor Anjum has been appointed new superintendent of Adiala Jail, replacing Asad Javed Warraich, Abdul Ghafoor Anjum has served as Faisalabad Jail Superintendent. In this regard, a notification of appointment and placement has been issued by the Punjab government.
It may be mentioned here that important cases of PTI founder Imran Khan are also being heard in Adiala Jail.
