Justice Shujaat Ali Khan sworn in as acting chief justice of LHC

LAHORE: Justice Shujaat Ali Khan has assumed the role of Acting Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC).

The oath was administered by Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider during a ceremony at the Governor House in Lahore on Tuesday.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, along with judges of the High Court and office bearers of the Lahore High Court Bar Association, were present at the event.

Justice Khan’s appointment comes at a crucial time, and his presence was warmly received by the attendees, reflecting the respect and anticipation surrounding his leadership at the LHC.
