Punjab CM and Spanish envoy discuss boosting trade, investment

LAHORE: Ambassador of Spain in Pakistan, Jose Antonio de Ory, and Honorary Consul for Spain, Jalal Salahuddin, called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in Lahore on Tuesday to discuss a range of issues.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on promoting trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism between Punjab and Spain. The discussion emphasized the need for enhanced joint efforts to strengthen bilateral relations.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz highlighted the government’s sustainable measures to provide a conducive environment for business growth.

The Spanish ambassador expressed keen interest in promoting a strong economic partnership with Punjab.
