Traffic resumes on Babusar-Naran Highway, welcoming tourists back

NARAN: The Babusar-Naran highway, which had been closed for six months due to heavy snowfall, is now open to all traffic.

In this regard, the local administration on Monday announced that police and local volunteers will maintain patrols along the highway to ensure the safety and convenience of tourists.

This reopening follows the clearance of significant obstacles in the Mansehra district, which had kept the scenic area of Naran inaccessible to visitors for an extended period.

The highway, which typically closes annually because of adverse weather conditions, is a vital route for tourists visiting the region.

With the road now clear, the local economy is set to benefit from the influx of tourists to Naran.
