Two terrorists killed in South Waziristan IBO: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces on Tuesday during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, the military’s media wing said.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized following an intense fire exchange during the operation.

Weapons along with a large quantity of explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, it added.

It further said that sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
