ECP lifts ban on postings, transfers of officials

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday allowed the transfers and postings of officials.

According to a notification issued in this connection, the ECP lifted the ban on transfers and postings imposed due to the general elections held on February 8, 2024.

The notification stated that as the general elections have been held so there was no need to continue the ban.

The elected government will now regulate all matters relating to such transfers, the notification added.
