LAHORE: Pneumonia claimed lives of 12 more children across Punjab in 24 hours and despite decrease in intensity of cold weather, risk of the disease remains there.
According to details, 12 more children fell prey to infectious disease across province in 24 hours but no death due to pneumonia was reported in Lahore during this time.
During this time, as many as 765 new cases of pneumonia were reported in Punjab while 174 new cases of pneumonia were reported in Lahore during one day.
During the ongoing year, 374 deaths and 27476 cases of pneumonia have been reported in Punjab. About 62 deaths from pneumonia, 5893 cases were reported in Lahore this year.
