ISLAMABAD: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja has directed the Chief Secretaries of all four provinces to ensure security for voters, offices of District Returning Officers (DROs) and Returning Officers (ROs).
The Chief Election Commissioner in a telephonic contact with the Chief Secretaries of all four provinces expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of over two dozen precious lives and injuries to dozens others.
Sikandar Sultan Raja said that anti-state elements wanted to sabotage the election process.
He directed the Chief Secretaries for strict measures to foil the nefarious designs of the enemies of country.
