Court orders arrest of Fawad Chaudhry in all cases

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Wednesday ordered the police to show the arrest of former PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry in all cases registered against him following incidents of violence of May 9 together.

Judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal also ordered the head of the joint investigation team formed on May 9 violence to provide the court with details of all the cases registered against the petitioner.

Advocate Zafar Iqbal Mangan represented Fawad in the court.

In his petition, former PTI leader said that the police had booked him in several cases in the aftermath of May 9. “When court grants me bail in one case, police arrest me in another,” he said.
