PTI shuffles candidates for national assembly seats in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has once again revised its list of candidates for the National Assembly in Faisalabad. In NA 97, Saadullah Baloch replaces the earlier nominee, Zulfikar Vatto. Additionally, Rana Atif has been nominated for NA 101, replacing the previous candidate, Nadeem Aftab Sindhu.

This marks the third amendment to the list of candidates by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, a decision made during a four-hour night meeting conducted via video link. Barrister Gohar, Shoaib Shaheen, and nine core committee members participated in the session, addressing concerns raised by candidates.

More than a hundred constituencies nationwide witnessed changes in candidate nominations. Core committee members expressed reservations about the allocation of tickets, particularly in dozens of constituencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab. Some constituencies saw the withdrawal of tickets initially assigned to women, with replacements chosen. The updated candidate list of candidates have been uploaded on PTI website.
Earlier, Barrister Gohar clarified that no allegiance was enforced on any member, leaving decisions to individual conscience.
